Exposition on Characters and Love

Pick a character or pick several characters that you play in a roleplaying game and describe in a few words that character's attitude toward love.
Damascus (era: original) - "Love? Maybe later. Too busy. Have to go chew on something."
Damascus in her original iteration loved many things, most of them summed up in, "A good fight." She got somewhat uncomfortable with emotional "mumbo-jumbo." She lived way too much in "the moment" and may have broken some hearts because of it.
Damascus (era: B?te Noire) - "Love is unexpected, love challenges, love is worth the fight."
Damascus ala B?te Noire still thinks love is kind of like a magic she doesn't know, but Ana is important to her. Important to her in a way she doesn't even understand, but she knows is worth fighting for, and that's the real change: she used to pick fights for fun. Now she knows she needs to survive for the fight that will make the difference.
Jelica - "Love is a luxury, one that paupers can have in excess but royalty can ill-afford."
However she felt about Silver, she knew that in the end she'd probably end up marrying someone who was "appropriate" to the position. A thinker, for certain. On the other hand, she also knew that she had to choose someone compatible enough to not run the kingdom into ruin because of her distaste. She was practical in that way.
Marius - "Love is but a dream. A pleasant one, but a dream nonetheless."
Marius avoids love. It's an idle fantasy at best, and too dangerous for him. He's had brief affairs, but he's a little too feral for a real relationship. Of course, as his player I have all sorts of evil ideas about seeing him with Paige.
Fiona (era: G & G) - "Love is for the sympathies of men. Sentiment is amusing, but transitory."
The only thing this Fiona loves is power.
I thought about the SWtE Fiona and she wanted this whole epic fantasy kind of love...one she was terrified she might find with Corwin. She was worried she'd simply end up controlling Julian.
